Dulce joined the Dolls and Diamonds team Spring 2016, eagerly reaching out and passionately articulating her desire to be involved with an organization geared towards serving female youth. Dulce explains, “I’ve decided to get involved because I myself had a very rough time learning to love myself. One person believed in me and pushed me to be more, she taught me self-worth and self-esteem. Because of her I stand where I am today. I want someone to say that about me one day.” Dulce is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University and holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing. At TAMU Dulce worked as a peer mentor where she received training in anti-bullying, self-esteem, time management, anti-depression, suicide prevention and test-taking strategies and coached and mentored other students in these areas. She finds great joy in being a help and support system to other young people. Dulce brings to the Dolls and Diamonds team a diverse background in administration, community service, fundraising, mentoring and event planning. For the past 5 years, Dulce has raised thousands of dollars for, and headed up teams of like-minded individuals for the Annual March of Dimes walk.
